Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield announced the recommendation of four hires for leadership positions Thursday, with the nods to officially be brought before the school board’s called personnel meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday. Dr. Karla Swafford, the current West Hall Middle principal, is the recommendation to replace the retiring Katherine Culver as director of special education. Rodney Stephens has been tapped to replace Swafford as West Hall Middle principal, moving up from his current assistant principal spot there.
