Hall commissioners are planning to expand the Hall County Government Family Health Center with an additional exam room and space to meet patient demand.
The pharmacy and clinic serving county employees and retirees opened in 2015. It is also used, for instance, by the county to perform all new-hire physicals and drug testing.
Commissioner Scott Gibbs said the extra room would “take some pressure off” the demands at the clinic.
“We’re kind of ahead of where we thought we’d be on it,” he added. “It’s just busy.”
This week’s Hall Board of Commissioners voting meeting is at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, a change from its usual Thursday night spot.
