A 17-year-old dancing on Sardis Road is believed to be the cause of a wreck that injured five people, sending one to the hospital in serious condition. Georgia State Patrol responded around 3:45 p.m. Thursday to Sardis Road near Short Road, where a Jeep Wrangler was overturned near a Honda CR-V. GSP Trooper First Class Jonathan Munger said the Jeep was traveling northbound on Sardis Road, while a Honda CR-V was in the southbound lane. “I had three witnesses saying the pedestrian was actually in the roadway prior to the crash and appeared to be dancing around in the roadway,” Munger said.
