Update: A 50-acre industrial development on W. White Road was approved by the Oakwood Planning Commission Monday.

The development would have two buildings, one 160,000 square feet and the other 250,000 square feet. The property, currently undeveloped, is in unincorporated Hall County, but the applicant, Atlanta-based Logistics Property Company, wants to annex it into Oakwood. The zoning would stay industrial.

The land at 4327 W. White Road is near some other industrial uses, including King’s Hawaiian.

The Oakwood City Council will have a final vote on the request at a later date.
