A boat and RV storage business was approved Monday, Dec. 9, by the Oakwood City Council.
The business will be at 4302 McBrayer Road, north of H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway.
The council approved the business on the basis that the applicant connect to municipal sewer as opposed to using a septic system.
“The facility will be completely secure with the entire facility fenced and a coded gate,” states a letter to the city from the applicant’s engineer, James Irvin of Foothills Land Design LLC.
The buildings will have both enclosed and open-air storage spaces. It also will have areas to wash dust off RVs.
