The Oakwood City Pool is scheduled to open Saturday.

As in the past, the city and the Georgia Mountains YMCA plan to team up to offer a variety of swim programs this summer.

Activities will consist of programs for children and adults, including family fun nights, swimming lessons and water aerobics classes.

The pool is on Railroad Street next to the Oakwood Police Department.

Operating hours are 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. daily. Admission is $2 per session.
