Deputies were called to the scene of a gas station robbery Sunday afternoon. The Chevron gas station at 1050 McEver Rd., near Dawsonville Highway, reported the robbery, with law enforcement called to the premises after 4 p.m. The suspect, a black male, entered the business and claimed to have a weapon according to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Nicole Bailes. He wore a long-sleeved shirt, baseball cap and a backpack.
