A 29-year-old Gainesville woman was killed Monday afternoon in a wreck on Old Cornelia Highway.
Brigette Marie Lepkoske was driving a Ford Explorer southbound on the East Hall road at about 3:30 p.m., when the vehicle left the roadway, according to the Georgia State Patrol, which investigated the accident.
Lepkoske overcorrected the vehicle, which then overturned “multiple times,” according to the state patrol.
The driver, not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle.
Blood was drawn for alcohol and drug testing, according to the state patrol.
