Gainesville showed love for its hometown national champion on Tuesday in the aftermath of Deshaun Watson leading Clemson past Alabama on Monday night.

A couple of the places that showed their support were familiar spots for Watson: the big painted rock across from Gainesville High School and Longstreet Cafe on Riverside Terrace.

The Gainesville High graduate was named the offensive MVP in the 35-31 title game triumph against the Crimson Tide and confirmed his intent to enter the 2017 NFL Draft.
