By unanimous vote, Gainesville school board members on Thursday morning approved spending more than $26,000 to replace faulty controls at the water towers connected to the heating and air conditioning system at New Holland Knowledge Academy. Automated Logic Corp., based in Kennesaw, will do the repairs. Officials called the meeting because any non-budgeted request exceeding $10,000 needs the board’s approval.
