All 182 members of the Gainesville Rotary Club have committed to contributing $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation, a first for the club. The achievement, celebrated at the club’s June 20 meeting, designates the Gainesville Rotary Club as a 100 percent Paul Harris Fellow Rotary Club. Harris, a Chicago attorney, founded the Rotary International civic club in 1905.
