A Gainesville man succumbed to his injuries after being struck by a vehicle while walking in the northbound lane on Cleveland Highway in North Hall on Tuesday morning, April 24, authorities said.

Charles Edward Mosley IV, 32, died Thursday, April 26, according to a notice sent by Flanigan Funeral Home.

The collision happened about 4:50 a.m. Tuesday near Walden Pond Road, Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Auston Allen said.

The vehicle’s driver, 20-year-old Madison Taylor of Gainesville, was not injured, Allen added.

Georgia State Patrol said no charges would be filed.
