Officials with Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 27-year-old Gainesville man Friday following an investigation involving more than 400 grams of methamphetamine.

Multi Agency Narcotics Squad agents arrested Victor Hugo Mendiola-Saucedo for a May 29 incident at 4423 Green Hill Road, Gainesville. Mendiola-Saucedo is being charged with trafficking methamphetamine, and authorities have placed an immigration hold on him.

According to Lt. Scott Ware, Mendiola-Saucedo “did possess and/or distribute in excess of 400 grams of methamphetamine,” which has a street value of about $40,000.

He was booked Friday night in the Hall County Jail
