Curious George will appear at a summer reading event from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Lakeshore Mall in Gainesville. In addition to the appearance by Curious George, activities for children will include story time, face painting, balloon animals and music. The festivities will tie in to Read, Learn, Succeed, an initiative United Way launched in 2013 to promote literacy.
