Friday was Day 2 of the three-day, military-styled camp sponsored by the Gainesville Jaycees and designed to instill discipline and teach leadership qualities to a wide ranging group of Hall County middle school boys, according to the Jaycee website and Jaycee co-organizer Trey McPhaul. Forty-six first-timers participated in the 2013 camp, with another four returning “peer mentors.” Graduation is Sunday.
