Gainesville High honorary diploma nominations being accepted

Nominations for 2016 Gainesville High School honorary diplomas are being accepted.

The honor is bestowed on individuals who are part of the Gainesville community and are not GHS graduates but whose achievements and strong support of GHS traditions are reflective of “Red Elephant” pride and spirit.

Nominations are due by April 15. Forms can be submitted to Gainesville High School, 830 Century Place, Gainesville, GA 30501 to the attention of Leslie Dorsey.

GHS 2015 honorary diploma graduates were John O. Davis, Colleen Ivey and state Sen. Butch Miller.
