Gainesville closes Holly Park, Longwood Park lake ramps for flooding

The Holly Park boat ramp and the Longwood Park lake walk are closed until further notice due to high levels of Lake Lanier.

Gainesville Parks and Recreation announced the closures on social media Thursday morning.

Lake Lanier was at 1,074 feet on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Full pool is 1,070 feet above sea level.
