The Gainesville City Board of Education is going through all of the district’s policies to determine what needs review, revision or removal. The board reviewed 40 policies at its work session Monday, and Superintendent Wanda Creel said the board will continue to regularly review policies for the next five to six months. “By the end of this school year, we want to have gone through and reviewed every policy,” Creel said. “... Internally, we want to make sure that our policies are still outlining what we know are best practices.”
