Friday wreck in Lumpkin County still under investigation

Two people died Friday in a car wreck on North Oak Grove Road in Lumpkin County, Georgia State Patrol Corporal Anthony Coleman said.

Coleman of Cumming Post 37 said the state patrol is still investigating the circumstances of the wreck that occurred at about 5:30 p.m.

He said one of the people in the car was taken by helicopter to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Coleman said the other passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Coleman said the investigation should be completed by the end of this week.
