The Cumming City Council has given the go-ahead to move forward with the Lanier 400 Parkway extension linking Bald Ridge Marina and Pilgrim Mill roads. The first two phases involve preconstruction work and grading. Cumming Mayor H. Ford Gravitt said the project costs were higher than anticipated, so no funding is available for paving at this time.
