Flowery Branch football players, joined by the band drum line and cheerleaders, toured all the feeder schools to Flowery Branch High School this morning.

They also walked through the halls and had pep rallies at Martin Elementary, Friendship Elementary and Spout Springs Elementary.

The activities are leading up to a schoolwide pep rally at the high school to send off the team for an opportunity to win the Class AAA State Championship in the game at the Georgia Dome at 5 p.m. tomorrow.

Football mania has taken over Flowery Branch High School this week as football players practice for their first chance at a state title.

The school already has sold 1,500 tickets to the game. And on Thursday, students swamped a Flowery Branch Falcons state championship T-shirt sale. Denise Ramsey, head cheerleading coach for Flowery Branch High School, said 600 T-shirts were sold in a little less than 15 minutes.
