Stormy weather is expected to continue today, with flood warnings issued in a few places in Northeast Georgia.
A flood warning has been issued for northwestern Hall County and southern Lumpkin County until 4 p.m. today. The National Weather Service has received numerous reports of flooding due to up to 2 inches of heavy rain since 7 this morning. Gainesville Public Works Director David Dockery said crews were busy Thursday morning responding to flooded streets across the city.
