Hall County firefighters put out a boat fire Tuesday at Aqualand Marina that destroyed the craft and also damaged a dock and an adjacent boat. Capt. Scott Cagle, Hall County fire marshal, said in a news release the call came in at 11:52 a.m. from the marina at 6800 Lights Ferry Road on Lake Lanier in South Hall. Fire crews arrived to find a 1973 36-foot Cabin Cruzer with heavy smoke showing.
