A female passenger was flown by helicopter to Grady Hospital in Atlanta on Tuesday after a Ford Explorer was involved in a single-vehicle accident. The Explorer was northbound on Old Cornelia Highway and left the road on the east shoulder. The vehicle hit a mailbox, crossed the roadway, struck an embankment, and then crossed the roadway again before coming to rest on the east shoulder.
