Speaking publicly for the first time, the brother of a woman fighting for her life in the hospital says his family holds no ill feelings toward the man authorities claim caused a deadly crash on Thompson Bridge Road/Ga. 60 by driving under the influence of drugs. Frank Alvarez told The Times on Friday that he and his family are much too concerned with praying for the recovery of his sister and two of her children to hold any grudges against the allegedly impaired driver, 22-year-old Jonathan Flanagan. The suspect was taken into custody Thursday night and booked into Hall County Jail on multiple charges, including vehicular murder.
