A man and three children have been displaced after their North Hall home was destroyed by fire Sunday night.

The fire happened around 9:16 p.m. at a residence in the 4000 block of Red Oak Drive off of Price Road. The roughly 2,000-square-foot house was valued at $180,000 and was deemed a total loss, according to Hall County Fire Services.

No one was in the home at the time of the fire, Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said.

A single man and three children had only lived at the Red Oak Drive residence for a couple of months, Cagle said.

The cause is still under investigation.
