Crews are building a temporary work bridge that will be used to move equipment, materials and staff to the barge, or working platform, in Lake Lanier for the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Clarks Bridge project. “The crane allows vertical supports or piles to be driven into the lake,” said Harold Mull, district construction engineer. “This will be the support for the temporary bridge.”
