Eyes on the Road: Storm cleanup along roads still underway

The ice storm is long gone, but the trees and limbs that fell because of it are still strewn across Hall County, with many of them awfully close to roadways. “Thousands of trees are down in Northeast Georgia,” said Teri Pope, Georgia Department of Transportation district spokeswoman. “It will take weeks to remove all the debris from interstates and state routes.”
