Nathan Deal signed Senate Resolution 293 last week despite reservations over the renaming of Ga. 347 east of Interstate 985 in South Hall County, his office said. “The governor thinks the name change should apply from I-985 west to the lake, but not to the east of the highway,” said his spokesman, Brian Robinson.
