Expo gathers local women to network, shop, sell
Inaugural event sponsored by Times highlights programs offered by nonprofit WomenSource

Hundreds of women showed up Saturday at the Brenau Downtown Center, where they visited with health advocates, got massages, learned about local businesses and shopped around. In short, said vendor Karen Wasserman, the inaugural North Georgia Women’s Expo was “a fabulous one-stop shop for women.” A networking event for local women and businesses, the Expo aimed to connect women, the most powerful consumer group, with businesses, services and agencies.
