Gainesville City Schools will host three meetings at Enota Multiple Intelligences Academy about plans for the new school and for the students’ temporary move for the 2016-2017 school year.
Two meetings are scheduled for April 12 and one for April 13.
The meetings will be in the media center. On April 12, a session will be held at 7 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts, and a second at 11:45 a.m. — participants should bring their lunch.
A meeting also will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 13.
Plans are to move the school over the winter break in December to the campus of Centennial Arts Academy. Students will be divided among modular units and a new two-story building. Construction on the new building is expected to start in May.
The new Enota school is expected to open in January 2018, and students and staff would be moved back to the new facility over the winter break in 2017.
