Tom Oliver is going to seek a third term as the head of the Hall County Board of Commissioners. Oliver’s current term expires at the end of the year, and for months, the chairman has said he was unsure whether he’d seek a third term. But he made his plans official Thursday, promising to fight for the elimination of furloughs and the return of pension and retirement benefits for county staff.
