A 13-year-old East Hall boy was airlifted to an Atlanta hospital today following a serious crash on an all-terrain vehicle.

The four-wheeler crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. on a dirt portion of Cobb Griffin Road near the intersection with Buffington Road off Gillsville Highway, officials said.

The boy was conscious when medical units arrived but is believed to have suffered a head injury.

The crash victim’s name and other information was not immediately available.
