Early voting in Hall County during the first week of the 2016 presidential primary was on par with turnout in 2012 and 2008.
This information reveals little about just how many voters will show up to the polls on Super Tuesday on March 1.
According to Hall County Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee, 904 voters cast ballots this past week.
In the 2012, 3,125 voters during the entire early voting period, and 3,274 voters took advantage of Early/Advance in 2008.
Total turnout in the 2012 primary was 28.95 percent versus 44.34 percent in 2008.
Sosebee said she expects turnout this year to be closer to what was seen eight years ago.
Early voting, however, could lag as candidates drop out of the race over the next two weeks.
Since the New Hampshire primary last Tuesday, for example, Chris Christie and Carly Fiorina have dropped out of the Republican race.
Voters in South Carolina and Nevada hold a primary and caucus before Georgia gets its chance next month along with 13 other states.
