The Friends of the Hall County Library are accepting donations at all Hall County Library System branches for their annual used book sale, which is set for Sept. 16-17 at the Gainesville branch.

This year, the group is partnering with the Gainesville High School Navy JROTC, which will have its members working the weekend of the sale to assist customers with their purchases.

Proceeds from the annual book sale support library activities such as the summer reading program. Friends of the Library fundraising also supports initiatives not funded by the library’s regular budget such as staff training and equipment purchases. This year, the group purchased new printing equipment, cameras and library flooring.

For more information about the sale, contact 770-532-3311 ext. 134.
