Hall County deputies are investigating a convenience store theft in which three men are suspected of stealing a cash-filled bank deposit bag without even drawing a weapon.

Deputies are looking for three black men who they say entered Petro Fast on Old Cornelia Highway in Gainesville and sneaked off with the money.

It appears two of the suspects distracted two store employees while the third suspect entered a store office to remove the bag with an undisclosed amount of money, said Sgt. Stephen Wilbanks, an agency spokesman.

Wilbanks said at least one of the store employees was tricked into exiting the store with a suspect during the sting.
