A Dawsonville man’s medical condition might have been to blame in a fatal wreck Monday night in North Forsyth County.

Ricky Charles Crow, 48, was traveling west on Doc Bramblett Road near Polly’s Bluff when his 2001 Dodge Ram left the roadway and went through a wooden fence before hitting a pine tree, according to Sgt. Chris Shelton of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

The truck rotated clockwise and came to rest 7 feet from the tree, facing northbound.

Crow was pronounced dead on the scene. He had an extensive medical history, Shelton said.
