A 64-year-old Dawson County man was arrested Dec. 9 in connection with what authorities are calling a suspicious fire. According to Dawson County Jail records, Gerald Wayne Fillman was charged with felony third degree arson and engaging in activities related to the use of fire-ignited items, a misdemeanor. Bond has not been set Dawson County Fire Marshal Tim Satterfield said Fillman owned and lived in the singlewide mobile home at 2166 Dawson Forest Road that went up in flames the morning of Dec. 9.
