A 44-year-old man died Monday night after falling from a tree stand while hunting deer in a remote, wooded area of south Forsyth near the Chattahoochee River. Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers said the incident, which occurred about 5 p.m. Monday off Old Atlanta Road, was reported by the man’s teenage son, who also fell about 15 to 20 feet from the stand. Authorities have identified the man as Jeffery Lane McBryant of Forsyth County.
