Professional wrestler and Hall County native AJ Styles visited Fair Street IB World School on Friday as guest speaker.

Styles, a.k.a. Allen Jones, a Johnson High graduate, performs in World Wrestling Entertainment. Appearing in conjunction with the Classroom Champions program, Jones spoke with second-grade students on perseverance and took questions from the children, who performed a the song “Dream Big.”

Classroom Champions is a mentoring program that targets grades kindergarten through eighth and brings Olympians, Paralympians and Olympic/Paralympic games athletes into the classroom via videos and live chats. The program helps teachers incorporate activities into their curriculum, focusing on letter writing, reading, geography, math, technology, goal setting and leadership. Fair Street has participated in this program since 2009.
