Spherion donates to Choices Pregnancy Care Center

The Gainesville office of Spherion Staffing Services, a local recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, has donated $2,000 to Choices Pregnancy Care Center as part of the Community Give Back program. Choices used the donation to purchase fireproof file cabinets for both their Gainesville and South Hall locations.

Spherion has been a partner of Choices Pregnancy Care Center for 20 years, providing funds, volunteer time and board of directors leadership. Choices Pregnancy Care Center is a regional organization that provides an array of services to women facing unplanned pregnancies, including parenting skills, health care services and access to affordable baby clothing.

Choices also provides, classroom training in local middle and high schools around the long-term consequences of sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancies. The organization was founded 30 years ago and has impacted more than 1,000 people to date.
