Animal Medical Care in Gainesville has hired Dr. Heather Tarpley to expand its veterinary services.

Tarpley earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Georgia and is board-certified in veterinary clinical pathology. She has served as a veterinarian in north Georgia for nearly 10 years. Her other professional interests include wound management, soft tissue and basic orthopedic surgery, and treating geriatric animals.

“We are excited to have Dr. Tarpley join our team given her extensive experience in veterinary medicine and the skillset she brings to our practice,” Dr. Chris Potter of AMC said. “We have known Dr. Tarpley for many years and have the utmost confidence and trust that she will be a strong asset for our patients and clients.
