Sawnee Electric Membership Corporation said the cooperative has received high marks in the most recent J.D. Power 2017 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study.

In the Cooperative category, Sawnee ranked third in the nation with a customer satisfaction index score of 786, up 45 from last year. The average electric utility score nationwide is 719. Sawnee EMC, based in Cumming, serves approximately 174,800 customers in seven counties in Northeast Georgia.
