On Tuesday, the Performance Paddlers of Lanier, a group of elite senior athletes from Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club, spoke to students at Mt. Vernon Elementary School. They educated the kids on the sport of sprint canoe and kayak, the opportunities at LCKC and the big events coming up in the next six weeks, including the U.S. Olympic Trials and the Pan Am Games.
