Laura Lasseter of Flowery Branch has been named one of three recipients of a Today’s Woman Scholar Award from Valeant Dermatology. Lasseter will use the $10,000 scholarship to help her attend graduate school at the University of Georgia. According to a press release, the scholarship is “for students who are mothers and pursuing any higher-education degree.”
