Kim Waters of Gainesville has assumed the volunteer post of Rotary International district governor for 2016-17, as Rotary International celebrates 100 years of its Rotary Foundation.
Waters will coordinate the community and international service projects of the 73 clubs in the northern third of Georgia.
She will be responsible for providing leadership, support and motivation to the clubs as they carry out their service projects.
Waters has been a charter member of the Rotary Club of Hall County since June 2009 and is also a partner and associate broker at The Norton Agency.
