Gainesville native receives Georgia Military College Army ROTC scholarship

Talisa Soto, of Gainesville, is one of 46 Army ROTC cadets to receive a scholarship from Georgia Military College.

Soto’s Army ROTC scholarship offers benefits up to $120,000. To be eligible for this scholarship, cadets must be medically qualified, physically fit and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

The scholarship will be initially used during her first two years at Georgia Military College, and the remaining will be applied at a follow on four-year college Army ROTC program.
