Communities seek to help those fighting wildfires

Communities across the Southeast are rallying together to do anything they can to help firefighters extinguish 33 wildfires that have taken over huge areas of land. Redwine United Methodist Church in Gainesville is one place that has started collecting items to send. “We are going to collect snack items for the firefighters battling the mountain fires this week,” Redwine clerk Celeste Sayre said.
