Scott Gibbs has been appointed to serve on the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Board, which implements community and economic development, government assistance and affordable housing. Gov. Nathan Deal appointed Gibbs, who represents District 3 on the Hall County Board of Commissioners, to the state board.
