Class Notes: South Hall Middle students organizing water fundraiser

Sixth-graders at South Hall Middle School want to help bring drinking water to South Sudan. The school’s sixth-grade language arts classes have recently committed to a fundraiser called the Iron Giraffe Challenge, according to Katrina Gotts, sixth-grade ELA teacher. “Recently, our students learned that millions of people in Africa lack safe drinking water,” Gotts said.
